I had to think a minute before I put this one up as to which weapon of choice I personally had as well... I mean, I'm sure most of us as beatmakers, or producers, or composers of instrumental music have a weapon of choice... a "go to instrument" if you will. While we all dabble in using all kinds of instrument sounds in our hip hop beats, r&b instrumentals, ambient soundscapes, or movie scores, there tends to be a "go to" that we all have. Some people who constantly create R&B instrumentals may go more towards a piano sound as their instrument, while others may go towards strings. Bottom line is, we all tend to have that musical weapon of choice. So what's yours?

Okay, so it's safe to say that the release of Lloyd Banks' Beamer, Benz, or Bentley has brought an impact to mainstream hip hop music. People are loving the track itself, the vibe, and the fact that this beat brings knock into their speakers when they listen to it. The track overall seems to get majority of people listening to it hyped up. Would you agree?
With that said, I decided to take some of the sounds available at SoundsForBeats.com, and create a remake of the beat in FL Studio 9 from scratch using no samples at all. I don't actually have a video of this instrumental as of yet, but will put up one soon in another blog, so be sure to check back often for the blog entry with the video of the remake.
